Rhino Rack Ski and Snowboard Racks Review - 2022 GMC Terrain

Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at our Rhino-Rack four ski or two snowboard carrier on our 2022 GMC Terrain. Now, as I said, we're going to be able to carry up to four skis, two snowboards, or maybe some fishing rods during the off-season using this carrier. We do have these oversized buttons, so even if we are wearing something like gloves for skiing or snowboarding, just a quick press on them and they do unlatch. They stay open by themselves, which is really nice, so that way when we are loading or unloading our gear, we don't have to worry about holding those open. They stay open themselves, which makes it so much easier just to grab our gear and be good to go. more

How's it going, everyone It's Ethan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the FatCat EVO ski and snowboard carrier on the top of our 2022 GMC Sierra. The one that we have here is capable of holding two boards or four pairs of skis. We do also have an option that holds four boards or six pairs of skis as well, and it will double as a fishing rod carrier in the warmer seasons. This carrier is capable of supporting up to 92.6 pounds as long as you're able to fit all of your gear within the actual padded portion of the carrier. As you can see, it doesn't take up the full length of our crossbars either, which is a nice feature because you could get more things on the roof carrier or the roof rack system like maybe a smaller roof basket or a kayak if you have room for that. more

Today on our 2014 GMC Yukon XL, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima FatCat 6, a locking rooftop ski and snowboard carrier with a 6 ski or 4 board capacity, part number Y03088. With our factory roof rack already on our Yukon, we'll begin our test fit by grabbing the front half of our carrier and placing it onto our front crossbar. We'll bring the black rubber coated metal straps around the underside. We're going to fit the one closest to us into the foot of the carrier. We'll then open the carrier, lift up on the closest black lever, and loosen it slightly. This allows the small gray catch to move out of the way so we can close our buckle. With our buckle closed, we'll tighten that black lever a little bit and push it into its downward position. more
